Disclosed is an automatic network topology acquisition method, including: acquiring the network type of a host; if the network type of the host is a directly connected network, carrying out an MSTP status query request immediate response on the host to obtain a query result; if the network type of the host is a routed network, acquiring the IP address of a router between the host and a network management system, and carrying out an MSTP status query request immediate response on the host and the router between the host and the network management system to obtain a query result; and analyzing the query result, and drawing a network topology map. Also disclosed at the same time are an automatic network topology acquisition system, a network query system and a network management system. The present invention can acquire the information about each network element in a network and the information about a topological connection relationship among the network elements. |
