<p>Vehicle stability control such that braking force is produced while the pressing force of a brake pad for each wheel is adjusted in order to increase vehicle travel stability is implemented. During the vehicle stability control, the presence or absence of a wheel that is an object for vehicle stability control and of which the braking force is reduced by fading and the like relative to a braking force corresponding to the pressing force of the brake pad (reduced braking force wheel) is determined. When there is the reduced braking force wheel, a wheel other than the reduced braking force wheel with the highest order of priority (first braking force allocated wheel), which is determined in advance for wheels for which braking force is to be produced so as to increase travel stability during the vehicle stability control, is identified, and the pressing force of the brake pad of the first braking force allocated wheel is increased on the basis of a lack of braking force in the reduced braking force wheel. Thus, a vehicle braking force control apparatus that can realize a required vehicle state even when the degree of decrease in braking force of the reduced braking force wheel is large can be provided.</p> |
