At least one of the upper cavity and the lower cavity is formed by sheet metal stamping or forging. The upper cavity comprises a first hollow cavity. The lower cavity comprises a second hollow cavity corresponding to the first hollow cavity, wherein the second hollow cavity and the corresponding first hollow cavity together form a resonance cavity to receive the resonance rod. Further provided is a method of manufacturing a cavity filter. The present technical solution achieves the goals of reducing the weight and the manufacturing costs of the cavity filter.</p>
