PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data receiver capable of continuously receiving identification data using a plurality of receivers. SOLUTION: The data receiver (1) comprises: a first receiver (10) provided with a first operation execution means for performing the receiving operation of receiving the identification data and a first prescribed operation other than the receiving operation; a second receiver (20) provided with a second operation execution means for performing the receiving operation of receiving the identification data and a second prescribed operation other than the receiving operation; a request signal transmission means (32) for transmitting first prescribed operation request signals for making the first operation execution means of the first receiver execute the first prescribed operation and second prescribed operation request signals for making the second receiver execute the second prescribed operation; and a control means (31) for controlling the request signal transmission means so as to transmit the first prescribed operation request signals to the first receiver after the second receiver ends the second prescribed operation and to transmit the second prescribed operation request signals to the second receiver after the first receiver ends the first prescribed operation.
