<p>Method of diagnosing a traction battery for a hybrid or electric vehicle, characterized in that it comprises the following steps: - the battery (2) operating data (6) relating to its use or to its storage are recorded by the vehicle during the lifetime of this battery; - these operating data are then processed (12) directly by the vehicle, so as to obtain statistical values (14) representative of the constraints undergone by this battery (2) and of the corresponding damage; - then these statistical values (14) representative of the constraints undergone are compared with predefined reference values (22), representing levels of constraint and damage which have been estimated previously in a typical mission profile adapted for this vehicle.</p> |
