FIELD: measurement equipment.SUBSTANCE: method to determine intensity of release of gases lighter than air from surface of porous objects includes application of gas analysers. According to this method on the selection section of the surface they install a tent of any shape and open at the bottom, made from a gas impermeable material. On the upper point of the tent they install a gas impermeable non-ventilated container, in the container they install a sensor and a pump of gas analyser pumping. The inner cavity of the container communicates via the hole in the bottom of the container with the inner volume of the tent. The joint of the container with the tent is sealed. Intensity of gas release is calculated on the basis of measured variations of gas concentration in a container during the time, the area of the surface covered by the tent, and the volume of the container.EFFECT: making it possible to measure intensity of releasing gases that are lighter than air from soil, minerals and other substances stored in significant quantities and having open surface.2 cl, 1 dwg |
