摘要 <p>A packing device for backlight modules comprises a holding frame (2), a rotational shaft (4) and a clamping component (3) able to rotate around said rotational shaft; the rotational shaft (4) is fixed upon the holding frame (2); the clamping component (3) comprises an upper arm (31) and a lower arm (32) which serve to grasp a backlight module (5 ) by its upper and lower surfaces respectively. When the opening defined between the upper arm (31) and the lower arm (32) faces upward, one side of the backlight module (5) is placed upon the lower arm (32), and the backlight module (5) is slowly released downwards; the force thus exerted upon the lower arm (32) causes the rotational shaft (4) to rotate; when the opening defined between the upper arm (31) and the lower arm (32) of the clamping component faces a horizontal direction, the lower arm (32) is in contact with the lower surface of the backlight module (5), thus supporting same, and the the upper arm (31) fits closely to the upper surface of the backlight module (5), thus holding said module firmly in place. A number of the present packing devices for backlight modules can be stacked one above the other such that the force exerted upon the backlight module at each level is uniform, thus alleviating the impact on the optical quality of backlight modules of an accumulation of gravitational pressure.</p>
