摘要 |
<p>An iron making process including processes of pig iron making, steel making, and rolling, provided is an iron making process using thermochemical reaction that additionally includes a heat recovery process for recovering thermal energy from waste heat and by-product gas discharged from the processes of pig iron making, steel manufacturing, and rolling, that uses the oxygen generated from a thermochemical reaction system generating hydrogen iodide, hydrogen, and oxygen from sulfuric acid, iodine, and water by using the thermal energy, and that uses the oxygen in the iron making process. According to the present invention, hydrogen and oxygen required for the iron making process are supplied by using the thermochemical reaction, thereby preventing the air pollution. The waste heat of an iron works is used in the thermochemical reaction, thereby increasing the utility of the waste heat in the iron works and ensuring the economic feasibility.
