WHEELCHAIR WHEEL WITH DIAMETRICALLY EXPANDING RUNNING-PART SEGMENTS, HAVING A LOAD-BEARING BASE IN THE FORM OF A PLEATED DISC WITH A RIM

The wheelchair wheel with diametrically expanding running-part segments, having a load-bearing base in the form of a pleated disc with a rim, constitutes a structurally modified wheelchair wheel (having the most commonly known structural shape), characterized in that it has running-part segments which expand in the diametrical plane of the wheel and make it possible to neutralize the drop between steps and, thus, to neutralize the jolting of the chair and its occupant at each step. Furthermore, the load-bearing base of the proposed wheel, in the form of a pleated disc with a rim can be used in the manufacture of bicycle wheels to be fitted to military bicycles.
