The lift has movable heads (2), where each head has a retractable stop (5) i.e. mechanical push rod, and an upper face (3) to support a stamped metal sheet (4). A driving unit moves the heads between lower stamping and upper gripping positions of the sheet. The stop is located on the corresponding upper face for extending into an active position around the sheet by allowing the sheet to have a mechanical clearance (j) with respect to the retractable stop, where the mechanical clearance is less than length (l) of corresponding part of the upper face extending under the sheet. An independent claim is also included for a sheet stamping device. |
