<p>The invention relates to a motor vehicle having a hood that has, on the front portion thereof, a striker wire (2) rigidly connected to a striker mounting (1), said wire (2) being capable of engaging with a coupling member that is rigidly connected to a structural element placed on the front face of said vehicle. The main characteristic of a motor vehicle according to the invention is that the vehicle includes a device (11) for supporting the striker wire (2), said device being intended for increasing the mechanical resistance of said wire (2) so as to reduce or even eliminate the effects of the shock created by the coupling member when closing the hood, said device (11) being positioned so as to prevent said wire (2) from being diverted from the initial position thereof or being pulled out.</p> |
