The present invention provides a non-aqueous electrolyte for a lithium secondary battery, which is prepared by adding predetermined additives to a non-aqueous electrolyte and which comprises: (a) lithium difluorophosphate, (b) an (oxalato)borate compound which includes one or more of compounds selected from lithium bis(oxalato)borate and lithium difluoro(oxalato)borate; and (c) fluoroethylene carbonate or a sultone compound. The present invention provides a non-aqueous lithium secondary battery which exhibits a minimal increase in battery thickness when exposed to a high temperature for a long period of time, and which shows excellent efficiency in terms of low-temperature discharge and high-temperature storage performance.
