The invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, in particular to a method for transmitting electrical energy to stationary and mobile electrical energy consumers, and to a device for implementing same. The method for transmitting electrical energy from an electrical energy source to an electrical energy consumer is implemented by means of generating and transmitting electromagnetic radiation in a circuit consisting of an oscillator for generating electromagnetic oscillations with a variable frequency of from 1 Hz to 20 GHz and a variable amplitude, a transmitting transducer for converting electromagnetic oscillations into electromagnetic radiation, a receiving transducer for converting electromagnetic radiation into electromagnetic oscillations and a transducer for converting electromagnetic oscillations into electrical energy with the parameters required by the consumer. The use of the invention makes it possible to increase the effectiveness and reduce losses on transmission of electrical energy from a source to a consumer over unlimited distances, and to reduce the cost of electrical energy transmission systems.
