The present invention provides a channel information feedback method and a user equipment. The method comprises: when a first user equipment is in a coordinated state, calculating a PCI, and calculating a first CQI when an interfering cell does not provide interference avoidance for the first user equipment; calculating a BCI, and calculating a second CQI when the interfering cell provides interference avoidance for the first user equipment; and feeding back one or a combination of the PCI, the BCI, the first CQI and the second CQI, and a difference between the second CQI and the first CQI to a base station where a serving cell is located. The present invention enables a user equipment at the edge of a cell to feed back channel information from the user equipment to a serving cell and channel information from the user equipment to an interfering cell to a base station, so that the base station performs coordination and scheduling on the cell under the base station, thereby improving the channel quality and communication rate of the user equipment at the edge of the cell. |
