摘要 The present invention provides an apparatus and a method for eliminating the intensity variance of a snoring sound signal due to a subject's head movement during sleep. The apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises a sound detection unit for detecting the intensity of the snoring sound signal of the subject, the sound detection unit being placed at a fixed position; a head posture detection unit, which is placed on the head of the subject and which is used for detecting the head posture of the subject at the time the intensity of the snoring sound signal is detected; and a processing unit for calibrating the detected intensity of the snoring sound signal in accordance with the detected head posture of the subject.In this way,irrespective of the head posture of the subject, the calibrated intensity of the snoring sound will be kept at a same level in order to be used for a correct analysis later on.
