A removable plug assembly (40) modified for port cooling plugs (52) of a borescope port (36) but allows controlled leakage to cool surfaces adjacent to the port (36) below oxidation limits. The plug assembly (40) has a plunger (50) and plug (52) wherein the plug (52) includes a plurality of flow recesses (80) allowing bypass air to cool the surface having the port (36), as well as the borescope plug (52). |
