This clothing treatment device is provided with a receiving tank for receiving clothes, and a steam supply mechanism for injecting steam into the receiving tank. The steam supply mechanism is provided with a steam generator (420) having a wall surface defining a chamber, a heater (425) for heating the wall surface, and a water supply mechanism for emitting water to the wall surface. The steam generator (420) is provided with an inlet where water enters from the water supply mechanism, and an outlet where steam vaporized on the wall surface exits. The inlet and a connecting pipe (421), and the outlet and a discharge pipe (422) are connected separated from the steam generator (420) through a fixing member (450). By this means, steam is efficiently supplied to the clothing, and thermal degradation and thermal deformation can be suppressed by fixing the connecting pipe (421) and the discharge pipe (422) to the steam generator (420). |
