<p>An FRP member joined to the frame of a frame structure, the FRP member characterized by the integral molding of a joint extending along the external peripheral surface of the frame and joined to the frame by adhesion, and a surface plate extending in planar fashion from the joint. Mechanical characteristics of the entire frame structure joined with the FRP member, such as strength and rigidity, and shear stiffening characteristics in particular, can be efficiently improved while the light weight of the entire frame structure is ensured and the number of assembly steps is reduced. In particular, an FRP member suitable for use in a vehicle frame structure can be provided.</p> |
