Disclosed are an optical transceiving device and method. The device comprises: an optical time domain reflectometer (OTDR) transmitting end, an OTDR receiving end, a light input interface, a light output interface, a tube body, a beamsplitter and a sideband filter plate. By virtue of the technical solution of the present invention, the function of OTDR detection light signal transmission and reception is obtained, and the function of multiplexing/demultiplexing a detection light signal and a service light signal is supported, ensuring that the transmission of a service light signal and that of a detection light signal on a main optical path are not affected mutually, and it can be used as an important component of an optical module to be integrated on optical transmission system equipment, so that the OTDR detection function can be built into the system, reducing the operation and maintenance costs of optical fiber fault detection. |
