The present invention provides: a positive electrode body for a capacitor, prepared by transforming a sintered body being a tungsten powder molded body that has been fired, and characterized by the positive electrode body being doped with potassium in the amount of 0.003% by mass to less than 0.3% by mass; a capacitor positive electrode body production method in which the sintered body being a fired tungsten powder molded body is transformed, and having a step in which the positive electrode body is doped with potassium in the amount of 0.003%-0.3% by mass; and a solid electrolytic capacitor using the positive electrode body. This capacitor has no externally visible defects appearing in a surface in which the tungsten powder sintered body lead wire is planted or in an area in a surface vertical to the planting surface and close to the planting surface. |
