A rotary connector device that can certainly cut a flat cable is disclosed. The rotary connector device comprises a rotor, a stator forming an annular space between the rotor and the stator, and a flat cable provided in the annular space for establishing a connection between the side of the rotor and the side of the stator. The stator includes an annular wall surrounding the annular space, the flat cable has one end which is pulled outside of the annular space through an opening provided in the annular wall, and a first projection portion and a second projection portion are provided in a side edge portion of an opening in the annular wall to project toward the side of the side edge portion positioned at the opposite side centered on the opening. |
