PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve security by enabling door unlock operation to be performed only when a user is close to a vehicle even though the same is remotely controllable.SOLUTION: A remote control system has an on-vehicle device 3 which transmits a door unlock request signal to a remote control terminal 5 when receiving a human detection signal from human detection means 14 detecting an existence of a human around a vehicle 2. The remote control terminal 5: inquires about acceptance or rejection of a door unlock request when receiving the door unlock request signal from the on-vehicle device 3; and transmits a door unlock command signal to the on-vehicle device 3 when operation is performed for the acceptance. The on-vehicle device 3 unlocks a door of the vehicle 2 by transmitting a door unlock signal to a door lock mechanism 13 when receiving the door unlock command signal from the remote control terminal 5 before finishing timing a set period after transmitting the door unlock request signal. |
