PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article configured to improve the absorbability of bodily fluid during the use, to improve the flexibility of an absorber on the whole, and to improve the shape-keeping capability of the absorber having absorbed the bodily fluid.SOLUTION: A diaper 1A includes: a front surface sheet 2; a rear surface sheet 3 and a vertically long absorber 4 disposed between the sheets 2 and 3. The absorber 4 has an absorbent core 41. The absorbent core 41 has a block areas 411 where a block structure 400 are regularly disposed in the vertical direction (Y direction) and in the lateral direction (X direction) from an abdominal part A to a back part B, and a non-block area 412 enclosing the outer periphery of a plurality of block areas 411. The block structure 400 is composed of projections 43 with a high basis weight and grooves 44 with a low basis weight. In a non-block area side part 412s of the non-block area 412, the area of the back part B or abdominal part A is larger than the area of a crotch part C as seen from the top. |
