PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power tool with less parts count at low cost, the power tool configured to perform theft control using a technique of an electronic key advantageous in the point of operability, be less likely to forget or lose the electronic key, be compatible with a variety of combinations between a battery and a body, and effectively prevent an accident due to a poor battery.SOLUTION: A power tool includes a power tool body and a battery pack removable from the power tool body. The power tool also includes, in each of the power tool body and the battery pack, a memory means in which a use permission flag is written through the authentication of the combination of the connected devices according to the proximity communication with a mobile terminal, and a control means for permitting energization when the use permission flag of the memory means is turned on. |
