PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a white light-emitting organic electroluminescent element which obtains an excellent emission balance, suppresses luminance deterioration and life shortening, and has a large film thickness margin for an intermediate layer and high mass productivity.SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescent element has, between an anode 41 and a cathode 42, an organic layer laminated structure 43 formed by laminating a plurality of light-emitting layers which emit light of different colors. At least one intermediate layer containing a compound represented by formula (1), in which at least one of Ar, Ar, and Aris a group represented by formula (2), is provided between the light-emitting layers. |
