PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-security fuel generating unit for generating a fuel to feed in a fuel cell unit.SOLUTION: A fuel generating unit includes a porous fuel generating agent which generates a fuel by oxidation reaction, a porous volume expanding agent which expands its volume by oxidation reaction, and a vessel containing the fuel generating agent and the volume expanding agent. The filling rate of the volume expanding agent before oxidation is higher than that of the fuel generating agent before oxidation. The volume expanding agent is located between the fuel generating agent and the inner wall of the vessel. |
