PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiper device in which an opening of a partition member can be sealed and any dedicated component for the sealing is not required to be provided.SOLUTION: A wiper device 10 transmits power of an electric motor 12 to pivot shaft 18 having a wiper arm 11 attached thereto. The pivot shaft 18 is inserted into an opening 13b formed in a cowl 13 partitioning an external space A where the wiper arm 11 is disposed and an engine room B where the electric motor 12 is disposed. The wiper device 10 includes a skirt part 19c which is provided in the wiper arm 11 and is arranged so as to surround the outside of a sleeve 13a formed by projecting a part of the cowl 13 toward the external space A side, and which forms a gap D between the skirt part 19c and the sleeve 13a, for communicating the opening 13b with the external space A. |
