PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of controlling a compressor, configured to suppress a variation of the pressure of gas supplied to a utilization process at a downstream side, and to provide the compressor.SOLUTION: A method of controlling a compressor includes the steps of: changing an opening degree of a discharge port 21 of a screw compressor 20 by being slid in the screw compressor 20 and changing a position of the slide; sliding a slide valve 22 for changing a compression capacity of the compressor 20 toward a prescribed target position; finding a difference between the target position and a position of the slide valve after the slide; and adjusting an opening degree of a spillback valve 13 according to the difference. |
