PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator capable of greatly deforming in a low voltage.SOLUTION: An actuator includes a first deformation material layer 11, a second deformation material layer 12, and an intermediate layer 13 provided between the first deformation material layer 11 and the second deformation material layer 12. The first deformation material layer 11 includes a first deformation material containing a first stimulation responsiveness chemical compound which changes its molecule structure by an oxidation reduction reaction. The second deformation material layer 12 includes a second deformation material containing a second stimulation responsiveness chemical compound which changes its molecule structure by an oxidation reduction reaction. The first stimulation responsiveness chemical compound and/or the second stimulation responsiveness chemical compound is a polymer constituted by polymerization of constitutional units each having a polymerizable functional group. The intermediate layer 13 includes an ion exchanger which exchanges anions. |
