PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve efficient memory access.SOLUTION: A bridge device 10 includes a MAC address table 171, an access monitoring circuit 18, and an access control circuit 17. The MAC address table 171 stores the transmission source and destination of a frame. The access monitoring circuit 18 determines an access ratio per access type to the MAC address table 171 according to the availability situation of the MAC address table 171. The access control circuit 17 performs control of whether access to the MAC address table 171 will be performed or not using the ratio determined by the access monitoring circuit 18 and a ratio of access performed relative to the MAC address table 171. |
