PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating cooker in which a preheating mode can be easily set without requiring complicated menu setting when shifting into a preheating mode, and settings for operating a preheating mode and the progress state of the preheating operation are easily understood by a user without increasing the number of display parts and operation keys.SOLUTION: A heating cooker includes: a top plate 2 where a heating object 4 is placed; a heating coil disposed below the top plate 2 for heating the heating object 4; a drive part 7 for driving the heating coil; a control part 8 for performing control of the drive part 7 based on a fire power adjusting command; an operation part 5 having fire power adjusting keys 11 to 14 for giving fire power adjusting instructions; and a display part 6 for displaying at least a heating output result by the heating coil. The display part 6 includes a fire power display part 17 having a plurality of display regions to display the heating output result. Upon preheating the heating object 4, the fire power display part 17 starts identification and display from a display region indicating medium fire power in the fire power display part 17, and displays the progress state of preheating by subsequently identifying and displaying the display regions in both directions indicating small fire power and large fire power, according to the progress state of preheating. |
