The specification of the present invention relates to an image display device which extracts texts from an image of the provided scene according to the velocity of a car from a mobile terminal, converts the extracted text into a voice message, and outputs the voice message for the user to stably and conveniently find the image. For this purpose, an image display device according to an embodiment of the specification comprises a communication unit which receives images from the mobile terminal by being mounted as the image display device on a car, a display unit which displays the received images, a control unit which obtains a text corresponding to the displayed images and the velocity of the car and, if the velocity exceeds a certain limit, converts the received text into a voice message, and a sound output unit that outputs the converted voice message. |
