PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent excessive increase of a negative pressure in a master bag by reducing a stepping time of a brake pedal.SOLUTION: A brake control device 30 is disposed in a vehicle provided with an internal combustion engine 23, a master bag 13 for assisting tread force to a brake pedal by using difference between an atmospheric pressure and a negative pressure, and a negative pressure pump 22 driven so that the higher a rotating speed of the internal combustion engine 23 is, the higher a capacity for creating the negative pressure in the master bag 13 is increased. The brake control device 30 controls the internal combustion engine 23 to increase required torque of the internal combustion engine 23 under a condition that the rotating speed of the internal combustion engine 23 reaches a prescribed rotating speed or less. The required torque of the internal combustion engine 23 is reduced when the rotating speed of the internal combustion engine 23 is the prescribed rotating speed or less, and the negative pressure in the master bag 13 is at an atmospheric pressure side with respect to the prescribed value, after the required torque of the internal combustion engine 23 is increased.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
