PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to easily perform focus fine adjustment by manual focusing while checking a through image after completion of auto-focus.SOLUTION: An imaging device includes: an LCD monitor 10 that displays a through image; an HPF processing unit 104-2b that outputs edge signal data from brightness data in image data; a level conversion processing unit 104-2c that causes the edge signal data to be subjected to binarization processing; a composition processing unit 104-2d that combines the edge signal data subjected to the binarization processing and the brightness data and color difference data in the image data; and a CPU-block 104-3 that performs first display to display a through image on the basis of the edge signal data subjected to the binarization processing, and second display to display the through image on the basis of the composite image data. The imaging device performs control to switch between the first display and second display on the basis of contrast information acquired from the image data. |
