PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alarm system which can notify a user of detected abnormality caused by intrusion of a suspicious person by collaborating with a moving body such as a smart cleaning robot having a communication function via an external network.SOLUTION: An alarm system detects a window opening or the like according to intrusion of a suspicious person into a monitoring area by an open/close detector 24, transmits an abnormality detection signal conforming to a first communication protocol to a relay adapter 28, converts the abnormality detection signal conforming to the first communication protocol into an abnormality detection signal conforming to a second communication protocol by the relay adapter 28, and transmits the converted abnormality detection signal via a radio router 12 to a smart cleaning robot 10 which performs predetermined operation by autonomously moving around in a predetermined work area including the monitoring area. When the smart cleaning robot 10 receives the abnormality detection signal conforming to the second communication protocol from the relay adapter 28 via the radio router 12, the robot 10 notifies a user's portable phone 22 of intrusion abnormality by transmitting the abnormality detection signal via a server 18 of an external network. |
