PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article conveying unit having a portion facilitating the motion along an endless belt.SOLUTION: An article conveying unit comprises: a steel-made endless belt holding and conveying an article; a driving pulley driving the endless belt; an idler pulley around which the endless belt is wound together with the driving pulley; a reciprocating motion part reciprocating along the endless belt between the driving pulley and the idler pulley; a moving direction changing part interposed between the driving pulley and a power part driving the driving pulley, wherein an output shaft provided with the driving pulley is orthogonal to a transmission shaft engaged with the output shaft and transmitting the power of the power part to the output shaft; and a reciprocating mechanism driven by the power transmitted by the transmission shaft and causing the reciprocating motion part to reciprocate. The transmission shaft is disposed along the endless belt between the driving pulley and the idler pulley. |
