PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brace bracket for strongly fixing a reinforcing brace which is used for suspending a ceiling frame from a ceiling skeleton, to a suspension bolt from a ceiling, and a method of handling the same.SOLUTION: A brace bracket 1 comprises a support backing plate 3 to which a suspension bolt engaging piece 2 half threaded with a suspension bolt is mounted, support side plates 9 and 10 extending at right angle from both sides of the support backing plate 3, a holding fitting 6 formed from a mounting shaft 8 of a movable holding fitting 7 spread between the support side plates, the movable holding fitting 7 supported by the mounting shaft 8 mounted between the support side plates while holding the holding fitting 6 therebetween, and a brace mounting bolt 11 which is threaded into a thread screw part of the movable holding fitting 7 to press and fix the suspension bolt correspondingly to the suspension bolt engaging piece 2. Therefore, a reinforcing brace is reliably, robustly and strongly locked to the suspension bolt. |
