PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the luminance of light emitted by a light-emitting element having a wavelength conversion part provided thereon.SOLUTION: The light-emitting device comprises: a light-emitting element which emits light of a predetermined wavelength from a light-emission plane; and a wavelength conversion part which is excited by the light emitted from the light-emission plane and thus emits fluorescence of wavelength different from the light emitted from the light-emission plane. The wavelength conversion part includes a translucent ceramic which includes a fluorescent material, clay mineral and inorganic fine particles, and covers an area of 60-95% of the light-emission plane of the light-emitting element. |
