PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device in which there is no possibility that reflection to a display screen occurs, and which can notify a user of a position more suitable for locating the display device, and to provide a television receiver and a program.SOLUTION: The television receiver receives, via an operation part, view environment information in a room where the television receiver is installed, and specifies candidate positions where the television receiver can be installed in the room, based on the view environment information thus received. With regard to each candidate position thus specified, the television receiver determines whether or not there is possibility that reflection to the display screen occurs, based on the view environment information thus received, and removes the positions where there is possibility that reflection to the display screen occurs from the candidate positions. The television receiver notifies the user of the remaining candidate positions as the positions suitable for installation of the television receiver. |
