PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gate unit of a game machine enhanced in a degree of freedom in the course setting of a race.SOLUTION: In a gate unit 23 of a game machine 1 installed at a field 22 having a track 26 on which a plurality of models 21 travel, and a field center 27 surrounded by the track 26, the gate unit comprises: a gate body 31 having an accommodation part 33 which can accommodate the plurality of models 21, a plurality of first doors 34 and a plurality of second doors 35 which are positioned at both sides of traveling directions of the models 21 with respect to the accommodation part 33 and arranged so as to be openable and closable, and a pair of door drive mechanisms 41, 42 for driving the plurality of first doors 34 and the plurality of second doors 35 so as to be openable and closable; a standby position P1 for making the gate body 31 standby in the field center 27; and a gate drive mechanism 32 which is reciprocally driven between positions of a first start position P2 and a second start position P3 which are located at the track 26. |
