PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a down converter and a control method of the same, which can reduce influence of spurious emission even in a universal dual configuration outputting a plurality of IF signals.SOLUTION: A down converter 1 has down converter circuits 10, 20. The down converter circuit 10 has a mixer 11, a 1/2 frequency-divider 12, and a PLL 13. The down converter circuit 20 has a mixer 21, a 1/2 frequency-divider 22, and a PLL 23. A difference frequency between a frequency of a local oscillation frequency signal of the PLL 23 and a frequency of a frequency-divided signal of the 1/2 frequency-divider 12 is higher than an upper limit of a receive frequency band of a tuner. |
