PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an embedded lighting fixture improved in waterproofing property.SOLUTION: An embedded lighting fixture is provided with a box 2 which has a lamp storage recess 200 in which a lamp 1 having an electric light source is stored and installed embedded, and a cover 3 which is fixed to the box 2 in the form of closing the lamp storage recess 200. The cover 3 has a window 5 which transmits light from the light source and packing 6 which is made of an elastic material and surrounds the window 5. A cover storage recess 201 having the lamp storage recess 200 opened on the bottom surface is installed in the outer surface of the box 2. The packing 6 has a body part 61 which surrounds the window 5 and is in contact with the bottom surface of the cover storage recess 201, and a flange part 62 which is fixed to the box 2 at the outside of the cover storage recess 201. A coupling protrusion 66 which is coupled to the flange part 62 is installed on the outer circumference of the body part 61. The coupling protrusion 66 is in elastic contact with an inclined part 202 which is provided in the vicinity of the opening of the cover storage recess 201.
