PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently secure the rigidity of a transmission case cover by avoiding the interference thereof with a centrifugal clutch and eliminating the need of protrudedly providing ribs for reinforcement on the outer surface of the transmission cover case in a power unit for a saddled vehicle in which a belt continuously variable transmission and the centrifugal clutch are stored in a transmission case between a transmission case main extending from an engine body and the transmission case cover and a plurality of radial ribs extending radially from the periphery of the opposed portion of a transmission shaft which is opposed to the end of the transmission shaft on the transmission case cover side are integrally provided protrudedly on the inner surface of the transmission case cover.SOLUTION: First annular ribs 74 which surround the outer periphery of a clutch outer part 57 of a centrifugal clutch 29 and to the inner peripheral of which radial ribs 73 are joined and second annular ribs 75 which surround the first annular ribs 74 and joined to the first annular ribs 74 at a plurality of points in the circumferential direction are integrally provided protrudedly on the inner surface of a transmission case cover 23.
