PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for efficiently coding images of plural view points different in photographing condition.SOLUTION: An image processing device acquires with respect to each of the plural viewpoints the photographing condition of an image at the viewpoint and the image of each frame photographed at the viewpoint in accordance with the photographing condition, and selects one of the viewpoints as a reference viewpoint, using the acquired photographing condition. Then, the device performs prediction coding and intra-coding on the acquired image and, with respect to each of the plural viewpoints on a frame-by-frame basis, outputs an encoding result obtained by the prediction coding or the intra-coding of the image of the frame photographed at the viewpoint. In the prediction coding, if performing the prediction coding on an image photographed at the reference viewpoint, the device performs the prediction coding, not referring to an image photographed at a viewpoint other than the reference viewpoint but referring to the image photographed at the reference viewpoint. |
