PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure which can alleviate the bending and positional shift of a roller that transports a recording medium in a transporting direction of the recording medium.SOLUTION: An image recording apparatus includes pinch rollers 61 which are provided on an upstream side in the transporting direction of a recording sheet from a recording part which records an image to the recording sheet, a transporting roller 60 which transports while pinching the recording sheet by the pinch rollers 61 and is formed of one piece, a frame 72 which rotatably supports the transporting roller 60, a holding member 80 which can move in a front-rear direction 8 with respect to the frame 72 and slides in contact with a roller surface of the transporting roller 60 from the downstream side in the transporting direction, a spring 85 which urges the holding member 80 in an opposite direction to the transporting direction, and an intermediate roller pair which is provided on the upstream side in the transporting direction from the pinch rollers 61 and transporting roller 60 and generates a load in an opposite direction to the recording sheet held between the pinch rollers 61 and transporting roller 60. |
