PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disaster prevention opening and closing device that is provided with a mechanism capable of mechanically stopping closing movement of an opening and closing body brought into contact with an obstacle and allows a reduction in a number of components and simplification of a structure to be achieved.SOLUTION: A sliding member 120 serves as a switching member for switching between ON and OFF of a braking device for stopping closing movement of a shutter curtain that is an opening and closing body and making the closing movement movable and is biased by a spring 121 in a direction in which the braking device is turned OFF. One end of a first control wire 111 that is a first string-like member having the other end coupled to an immovable member immovable to the shutter curtain via a thermal fuse and one end of second control wire 112 that is a third string-like member forming the other end in an extension direction of a locking wire that is a second string-like member mechanically connected to the shutter curtain by a mechanical connection device and applied with tension force when the shutter curtain is brought into contact with an obstacle are coupled to the sliding member 120. |
