PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire having an inner liner layer of superior durability composed of a laminated sheet having a sheet made of thermoplastic resin or thermoplastic resin composition and rubber laminated to each other, and to provide a method for manufacturing the tire.SOLUTION: There is provided a pneumatic tire, in which an end part of a laminated sheet 1 obtained by laminating a sheet 2 made of thermoplastic resin or thermoplastic resin composition with elastomer blended in thermoplastic resin, and a tie rubber 3 to be bonded by curing to the thermoplastic resin or the thermoplastic resin composition on one surface of the sheet 2 is lap spliced to form an inner liner layer 10. A member having an extremity end of the lap spliced end part processed to show a specified sharp extremity end is used as the sheet 2, and at the lap spliced portion, a layer of the tie rubber 3 is held and present between the portions of the sheet 2 having two layers with both the sharp processed part and the part not processed with the sharpening treatment, and there is provided a method for manufacturing the pneumatic tire. |
