PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a purified glycerin alkyl ether at a high recovery rate by removing glycerin from a mixture containing glycerin and a glycerin alkyl ether.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a purified glycerin alkyl ether includes the following steps (1) and (2). Step (1): a step of bringing a mixture containing glycerin and a glycerin alkyl ether into contact with a cation exchange resin. Step (2): a step of bringing a solvent having an SP value of 20.5 to 34 [(MPa)] into contact with the cation exchange resin to obtain an eluate. |
