PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crosstalk measuring method for more exactly capturing crosstalk characteristics.SOLUTION: One end surface ME1 of a multicore fiber 10 is made to face one end surface SE1 of a single core optical fiber 30 at a gap, and ratio between power of light L1 measured when one of two cores 11A, 11B adjacent to each other in the multicore fiber 10 is considered as a core for optical incidence, and power of light L2 measured when the other of the two cores 11A, 11B is considered as the core for the optical incidence is calculated. At least surface areas except a core end surface on one end surface ME1 of the single core optical fiber incline to the end surface side opposite to the one end surface of the single core optical fiber from the circumference of the core end surface toward the outside. |
