PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor light-emitting element which reduces absorption of return light by an electrode and improves light-extraction efficiency.SOLUTION: A face-up mounting semiconductor light-emitting element 1 including an n-side electrode 4 and a p-side electrode 6 which are provided on a top face side of a semiconductor laminate 3 in which an n-type semiconductor layer 31, a luminescent layer 32 and a p-type semiconductor layer 33 are stacked on a substrate 2 comprises: reflection layers 7 each composed of a dielectric multilayer film which are provided on the n-side electrode 4 and the p-side electrode 6 except a junction part 4a and a junction part 6a; and a translucent protection layer 8 which covers a surface of the semiconductor light-emitting element 1 including top faces of the reflection layers 7. |
